Welcome to Kannapolis, NC! We’re heading to northern Cabarrus County now. Kannapolis was originally built as a mill town serving the famous textile business, Cannon Mills. While Cannon has long since closed, the charm of all those little mill houses remains. Many of them have been renovated to the standards and modern conveniences found on HGTV and Magnolia Magazine.
