Have lunch at A.J.’s, a thirty year staple in the community. But don’t bother going there on the weekends, because after feeding half the town all week long, they need the break!
After lunch, have a coffee at my favorite spot, Rocky River Coffee Shop. Another long time institution (15 years!), RRC always has friendly faces and usually a regular patron or two hanging around. Be sure to try their famous drink, “The Rocky River”. It’s basically a delicious milk shake with a shot or two of espresso!
Just up the street is Brooklyn’s Pizza, but don’t let the name fool you! While they do indeed serve delicious, NY style pizza, once you’re inside, you’ll find a pleasant surprise of delicious kabobs and other exotic dishes, plus a butcher shop next door and bakery!
